How it works
Once you've got your vocal stem, here's how to use it to record your own take on a trending sound.
1. Mute the original sound
Open your TikTok draft and turn the original sound's volume down to 0 in the editor. This clears the mixed track so your voiceover is the only vocal audio left.
2. Add your vocals-only track
Import the vocal stem you downloaded from Sawt as a voiceover or added sound, just like you'd add any other TikTok sound to your clip.
3. Align using the offset guide
Your result page tells you the exact second the vocal comes in on the original track. Nudge your overlay to start at that timestamp so it lands in sync.
